Built for slim, surface-mounted LED tape lighting

The YD-1205 is a compact surface-mounted LED aluminium profile developed for architectural and commercial lighting projects where the channel needs to sit on the surface rather than be recessed. The narrow 17.3 mm footprint keeps the visual line slim, while the 8.2 mm internal cavity accepts the most common LED strip widths on the European market — 8 mm and 10 mm COB tape, plus 12 mm wide single-row strips.

Made from 6063-T5 aluminium and anodised in regular silver, the YD-1205 acts as a passive heatsink for the LED strip, extending diode lifetime and reducing light decay. The supplied PC diffuser delivers a soft, dot-free line of light and protects the LED strip from dust and physical contact.

Typical uses include under-cabinet task lighting, cove lighting, retail shelving, wardrobe interiors, kickboards, signage backlighting and stair nosings.

All three PC diffusers clip into the side grooves without tools and can be replaced at any time. Choose by light effect, not by efficiency alone.
