Mini profile, three mounting modes, dual LED compatibility

The YD-2575 is the first profile in Ofly's Mini series — a compact 8.6 × 7.3 mm aluminium channel designed for architectural and cabinet lighting where a slim, near-invisible line is required. The 4.8 mm internal channel accepts the narrowest COB and SMD tapes on the European market, from 3 mm to 4.7 mm wide.

The same profile accepts a square PC electrode and lens assembly for anti-glare lighting. The reflector cup is injection-moulded polycarbonate with an electroplated finish, paired with either an optical lens (narrow-beam accent) or a black PC cover (deep-recessed anti-glare, UGR < 19). Both reflector-cup modes require the CSP1208 rigid LED strip — flexible tape is not compatible with the cup / lens / cover system.

Three mounting modes in one profile — surface, wall and 180° adjustable rotation — make the YD-2575 the most versatile mini profile in the line-up: one part covers cabinet interiors, skirting / bed-headboard lighting and aimable display-case accent lighting.

Two LED modes — pick the right one before ordering

The YD-2575 supports two LED sources that determine which optical accessory you can use. Flexible COB tape and CSP1208 rigid strip cannot be mixed on the same cup. Pick one mode before you spec accessories.

Mode A — PC diffuser

Ordering tip: if you spec accessories first, lock in the LED source at the same time. Quote the rigid strip count (× 100 mm segments) together with the cup + lens/cover count to avoid mismatched shipments.

Three mounting modes in one profile

The YD-2575 ships with the hardware to install three ways — surface, wall-lamp and 180° adjustable rotation. One part covers three installation scenarios; no second profile needed for the other two modes.

100 mm modular accessories

The reflector cup, lens and black cover are all standardised at 100 mm length. They snap onto the channel in modular units, so you can mix and match across the length of the profile.

Frequently asked questions

What LED source does the YD-2575 accept?

Two distinct modes: (a) flexible COB / SMD tape up to 4.7 mm wide for the standard PC diffuser (Clear / Frosted / Opal); (b) CSP1208 rigid LED strip, 100 mm length, 14 beads per segment, for the reflector-cup / lens / black-cover options. The two modes cannot be mixed on the same cup — flexible strip does not fit the cup/lens/cover accessories.

How long are the reflector cup, lens and black cover?

All three accessories are supplied as standardised 100 mm modules. To achieve a continuous anti-glare line over 1 m of profile you need 10 × reflector cups + 10 × lens or black-cover segments + 10 × CSP1208 rigid strips, side by side.

What is the difference between the three mounting options?

Surface mounting for under-cabinet and interior cabinet lighting. Wall-lamp mounting for vertical surfaces such as bed headboards and skirting. 180° adjustable rotation for accent / display-case lighting where the beam direction needs to be aimed after installation.

Lens + reflector cup vs reflector cup + black cover?

Lens + cup delivers a narrow, focused beam suited to product and display-case accent lighting. Black cover + cup provides deep-recessed anti-glare performance at UGR < 19 for premium residential and office interiors. Both options require the CSP1208 rigid LED strip — flexible tape is not compatible.

Minimum cut length and tolerance?

Cut to any length; standard tolerance ±0.5 mm. Tighter tolerances available on request.

What is included in the accessories kit?

Two square plastic mounting clips and two square plastic end caps per metre of profile. The reflector cup, lens and black cover are quoted separately, priced per 100 mm module. The square shape matches the square cup body — end caps and clips are not interchangeable with round-cup profiles.
